September 2019 Release Notes

We are pleased to announce key new product enhancements available as of September 19th, 2019. The key product enhancements you can take advantage of with this release are listed below, with additional details on how to use the functionality in linked articles:

Auto-Assigned Reference Filters

We are excited to introduce a new way to create comparisons for managers so they can see how their team is performing compared to an organizational group they belong to. Organizations that assign manager permissions based on their location in the hierarchy can now automatically include default comparisons within the hierarchy tree of that manager. You have the option of setting the comparison to be a certain number of levels down from the top, or a certain number of levels up from the manager.

Employee Tab Enhancements

Admins now have the ability to upload previously marked invalid employees*, that way they can manage them right inside of the platform before distributing their next survey. In addition, we’ve put messaging in place so Admins know they have invalid employees they need to update.

We've also made minor enhancements to search functionality. If an Admin searches for an employee who is not within the file, they'll receive a message that we have found no results.

*Note: a previously marked invalid employee means that the employee's email address or phone number was undeliverable at a prior time within CultureIQ.

PowerPoint Enhancements

We have been hard at work to provide more options for building PowerPoint exports. It is now possible to have multiple custom branded templates with unique slide configurations that managers can choose from when exporting the PowerPoint. With multiple PowerPoint templates, you can offer your managers multiple ways to focus their attention on the right story to change their culture, or provide a different branding experience that matches each organizational unit.

In addition to enabling multiple templates for managers to choose from, administrators can also set a default global template for a company that will apply to any new survey built for the company. This is especially helpful for self-service surveys.

To build and upload the custom PowerPoint templates, please work with your CultureIQ Program Manager.
