July Release Notes

The following key new features are available as of July 12, 2018.


Favorability View | An additional reporting view has been added to make it easier to analyze and compare rating scale type questions against benchmarks, history, and internal comparisons. There is also a capability to drill down from quality score, to the individual questions that make up a quality, and then by demographic group break-outs within a question.  Users can sort their results by the favorability score of any of their comparisons as well as switch between two different visual layouts.  The “Divergent” layout shows a different color shading for each response option and is aligned so that favorability is to the right of center and neutral and unfavorable are to the left of center (depicted below). The “Classic” view shows shading only for favorable, neutral, and unfavorable, with favorable starting from the left and then depicting neutral and unfavorable to the right (depicted under the New Survey Templates Available section later in this document).



Multiple Comparisons |To provide additional context to results, up to three comparisons can now be added along with your target group filter while viewing survey results.  The additional comparison capability provides a broader view into your data to enhance insights without having to toggle between the groups you want to compare. The comparisons that can be applied are other demographic groups, and other surveys when viewing combined surveys.



New Survey Templates Available | Thanks to the recent merger between CultureIQ and CEB Workforce Survey & Analytics (WS&A) Division (see press release here), customers can now work with your CultureIQ Strategist to enable additional survey templates that include proven survey questions (most with panel based benchmarks) on key topics that help you to align culture with business strategy. If added, the benchmarks for the new questions will now be available as a comparison group in reporting as depicted with the Classic version of the Favorability View below. The templates cover topics such as the following:
